Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan , one of the most iconic figures in pop culture and professional wrestling, has passed away at the age of 71 in Florida, leaving fans across generations heartbroken.

Hogan, born Terry Bollea, was more than just a wrestler—he was a larger-than-life persona who brought professional wrestling into mainstream prominence in the 1980s. Known for his charisma, unmatched energy, and the signature “Hulkamania runs wild” spirit, Hogan helped shape WWE into the global phenomenon it is today.

A Tragic Thursday

According to reports by TMZ, Hogan suffered a cardiac arrest at his home and was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. A video captured at the scene showed emergency responders making efforts to revive him before transporting him in an ambulance. An official confirmation on the cause of death is awaited from the coroner’s office.

WWE released a heartfelt statement: “WWE is saddened to learn legendary WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture’s most recognisable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans.”
