Air India flight diverted to Bhopal due to technical snag
An Air India flight from Delhi to Bengaluru was diverted to Bhopal on Monday night due to a suspected technical issue, the airline said.
The aircraft, AI2487, landed safely at Raja Bhoj Airport and is now undergoing precautionary checks.
An airline spokesperson said the inconvenience was caused by an "unforeseen situation."

The spokesperson said, "Air India regrets the inconvenience caused to passengers by this unforeseen situation."
They added that the ground team at Bhopal is providing immediate assistance and support to the passengers.
The airline is making every effort to fly them to their destination as soon as possible, the spokesperson added.
Flight from San Francisco makes emergency landing in Mongolia
In another incident, an Air India flight from San Francisco to Delhi made a precautionary landing at Ulaanbaatar International Airport in Mongolia.
The flight crew suspected a technical issue en route, prompting the precautionary landing.
Passengers were disembarked and provided with hotel arrangements, as per an airline spokesperson's statement on X.

The airline said, "AI174 of 02 November 2025, operating from San Francisco to Delhi had made a precautionary landing at Ulaanbaatar International Airport in Mongolia."
It added that "every effort is being made to minimize the inconvenience."
