Ayodhya's Ram Mandir has witnessed an overwhelming surge in donations, accumulating a staggering ₹11 crore in just 11 days since the consecration ceremony on January 22. The influx of offerings and contributions has been fueled by the pilgrimage of approximately 25 lakh devotees to the Ram Janmabhoomi during this short span.

Providing insights into the substantial financial support, the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra reveals that ₹8 crore has been generously dropped into donation boxes within the temple premises over the past 10 days. Additionally, a substantial online contribution of around ₹3.50 crore has been received, highlighting the diverse avenues through which devotees express their devotion.

Prakash Gupta, the Trust's office in charge, sheds light on the organized process in place for donations. He mentions the presence of four large donation boxes strategically positioned along the darshan path leading to the sanctum sanctorum. Devotees contribute their offerings at these locations, and an additional 10 computerized counters facilitate the donation process.

Temple Trust employees, stationed at these counters, meticulously record the donation amounts throughout the day. Gupta emphasizes the transparency and accountability of the system, stating, "From depositing the donation amount to counting it, everything is done under CCTV camera surveillance."

The meticulous handling of the donations involves a dedicated team of 14 individuals, consisting of 11 bank employees and three Temple Trust staff members. The diligent counting process ensures accuracy and reliability in managing the substantial inflow of contributions.

In a noteworthy development, Ayodhya's Ram Mandir is making provisions for the comfort and convenience of devotees. The installation of Bijolia stones, covering an expansive area of approximately five lakh square feet, is aimed at enhancing the pilgrim experience, encompassing the Parikrama area and Kuber Tila .

An astounding revelation by Prakash Gupta indicates that the Ram temple is witnessing a remarkable daily footfall, with over 2 lakh devotees making their way to seek darshan of Ram Lalla . The significance of these Bijolia stones from Rajasthan lies in their unique qualities, ensuring a comfortable walking surface regardless of the weather. Stone expert Deeksha Jain attests to their durability, stating, “This Bijolia stone of Rajasthan is very special in its quality as it does not get too hot in summer, or too cold in winter. This stone does not deteriorate for about 1,000 years, while the ability to absorb water in it is greater than other stones.”
