What Is the UMANG App?
UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) is a government initiative that brings a host of central and state government services onto a single mobile platform. One of its key features is seamless access to EPFO services , even when the EPFO website is down.

How to Check PF Balance Using UMANG App
Even without opening the app, you can check your PF balance in two simple ways:

1. Via SMS:

• Send an SMS to 7738299899 from your registered mobile number in the format:
• EPFOHO UAN
• Example: To get details in Telugu, type EPFOHO UAN TEL

You’ll receive your latest PF balance and KYC details.

2. Via Missed Call:
Give a missed call to 011-22901406 from your registered number.
If your UAN is linked to your Aadhaar, PAN, or bank account, you'll get an SMS with your PF details.

How to Raise a PF Claim on UMANG
Follow these quick steps to raise a PF withdrawal request:

1. Download the UMANG App from Google Play Store or Apple App Store
2. Search for “EPFO” and tap on it
3. Under “Employee Centric Services”, select “Raise Claim”
4. Enter your UAN and verify with OTP
5. Choose the type of withdrawal, fill in your personal details, and submit

You’ll get a Claim Reference Number that you can use to track the status anytime on the app.

Track Your PF Claim Status
Once your claim is submitted, go back to the EPFO service in the UMANG app, tap on “Track Claim”, enter your reference number, and you’ll get real-time updates on your withdrawal status.
