Gold Silver Price Today: Gold Tops ₹1L, Silver Hits 13-Year High—Which Is The Better Investment Now?

Satish Dondapati, Vice President at Kotak AMC, noted that both gold and silver reached record levels in June 2025, boosted by market volatility and high industrial demand—especially for silver.
Aksha Kamboj, Vice President of IBJA and Chairperson at Aspect Global Ventures, also pointed out that despite the fall in jewellery demand by 40%, investor interest remains high in digital gold, ETFs, and lighter ornaments. She attributes this shift to heightened geopolitical risk and increasing demand for precious metals as portfolio hedges.
While gold has slightly dipped following the U.S. Federal Reserve’s hawkish signals and easing bond yields, analysts suggest that continued global risk, central bank accumulation, and a weakening dollar will help maintain its price stability.
