How to Retrieve Your UAN Online – Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Head to the EPFO Website
Start by visiting the official EPFO portal : www.epfindia.gov.in. This site offers all EPF-related services, including UAN recovery.


Step 2: Go to ‘For Employees’ Section
On the homepage, click on the ‘Services’ tab and select ‘For Employees’. This area is designed specifically for salaried individuals seeking UAN, PF, or pension-related information.

Step 3: Click on ‘Member UAN/Online Services’
You’ll be redirected to the unified member portal. This is where you can retrieve your UAN, update KYC, and view your EPF passbook.


Step 4: Fill in Your Personal Details
Provide your full name, date of birth, and identification details such as your Aadhaar, PAN, or EPF Member ID - make sure the details match EPFO records.

Step 5: Mobile Verification via OTP
