Adam Peaty's mum breaks silence as she says son's 'in Gordon Ramsay's clutches'
Adam Peaty's mother Caroline has spoken out for the first time after being allegedly banned from her son's Christmas wedding to Holly Ramsay. Things are said to have turned tense over Holly's recent hen do.
It is believed things all began when Caroline was not invited to Holly’s hen do recently, with Victoria Beckham and Holly’s mum Tana among the guests. Caroline has now spoken out, admitting she "knows it's the end".
"I know it’s the end. But please, the message I want Adam to hear is no matter what happens in the future, please know I love you, your dad loves you, you can come home and talk to me at any point," she said.

"There’s nothing you’ve done that I would not forgive. I love you so much. I hope your marriage is a good one, I don’t wish any ill on you and I want you and Holly to have a long and happy marriage. The reason I’m speaking out is I want all this to end."
Caroline claimed that her son was "in Gordon's clutches" and felt the family were "pulling him away".
"He’s in Gordon’s clutches. I can’t help but feel like they are pulling him away from me. Their family is very insular," she heartbreaking told the Daily Mail. Caroline also said she was at home looking after Adam's son at the time of the hen and stag dos.
She said: "I was crying all the way home. I got home and told Mark that for the first time in my life, I felt I didn’t want to live. That’s how low this has made me. I’m a strong woman and I can get through anything, but this has broken me."
Caroline’s sister Louise Williams publicly criticised Holly in a post. She wrote: "@hollyramsayy I’m so glad that you had a great hen do. As a bride, you deserve that. However, as a person you were divisive and hurtful towards a woman who I have loved and continue to love deeply. You have inflicted a hurt on my sister that will take a very long time to heal if ever."
Caroline has now claimed that things started to sour at the engagement party, when her wider family weren't invited. She claimed she had sent a message to Holly about it, and said her message was polite.
"But Adam didn’t take kindly to me sending that message," she said. Caroline also claimed that Adam would not back down, and "nor will Holly". She added that he "rarely says sorry" and "has a very black and white view".
Caroline has said, though, that she would attend the wedding if she was invited.
