Newspoint
The latest weekend ka vaar was hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty , who replaced Salman Khan as the latter is busy with his Dabangg Tour. Rohit Shetty gave many eye opening points to the housemates and also exposed their double standards. However, during the episode, Rohit highlighted one of the most important topics of the week. During one of the most uneasy moments, Rohit Shetty confronted Kunickaa Sadanand over her comments about Malti, particularly for questioning her sexuality on national television. Rohit began the topic strongly, saying this wasn’t a small comment made inside the house, it was something said in front of millions of people watching the show.

When Rohit confronted Kunickaa about her remark on Malti Chahar 's sexual preference, she tried her best to justify her words and defend her intention. However, Rohit immediately shut her down and clearly stated that no justification could make her remark acceptable.

He said, “You used a word on national television and you said it about someone whose parents, friends, colleagues, everyone is watching. The entire country is watching this show.”

Rohit schooled her that, given her age and experience, she should have been more sensitive and responsible. “You’re a senior, you are mature and you have worked with me, you should never have used that word.” However, instead of understanding the gravity of her remark, Kunickaa was seen trying to defend herself.

Despite her efforts to justify herself, the focus stayed on the seriousness of her remark. Rohit made it clear that such comments are not only inappropriate but also deeply disrespectful, both on a personal level and in front of the entire audience.

Later, Kunickaa was heard telling Farrhana that she had spoken the word “lesbian” very softly, assuming the mic wouldn’t pick it up — but it still captured everything. Farrhana responded saying, "Haan uska behaviour dikhta bhi waise he hai, she is still looking weird." Meanwhile, Malti reprimanded Kunickaa when she once again tried to justify her remark saying she made the comments after she saw Malti invading Farrhana's personal space. Malti shouted at Kunickaa, Farrhana and others that let the audience and show's host decide where she was going wrong. When Tanya suggested others to apologise instead of discussing the topic, Malti sternly stated that she doesn't need anyone's apology. "I don't need anyone's sorry, they are creating their own image."

The segment ended with a strong message on accountability, making it evident that insensitive remarks about someone’s identity will not be excused under the pretext of gameplay or casual conversation.
