Navaratri or navratra, the Hindu festival that spans nine nights is here and it's time to bow down in front of Goddess Durga and her nine avatars. The festival centres around these nine goddesses and each day has its own significance, symbolised by a colour. The second day of this auspicious festival is dedicated to Maa Brahmacharini and she is symbolised with the colour orange, which implies the aura and brightness of positivity and enlightenment. Interestingly, orange is also the colour that Goddess Brahmacharini is said to wear.
