'I've visited best cities around the world and one UK location wins'
When you live somewhere all the time, you might not appreciate it as much as you should. In the UK, we have so many beautiful places that we get to enjoy every day. From rolling hills and cute cottages in the countryside, impressive old buildings, modern cities full of opportunities, and the best pubs in the world, there is a lot to appreciate. While we often want to go abroad to experience different places, tourists from abroad love holidaying in the UK. One American man insists that he thinks that one English city is the "best in the world".
The 35-year-old entrepreneur says he has been to over 30 countries in the past seven years, including visiting major cities like Tokyo, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and Berlin, but he believes London trumps them all.
"London is by far the best city of them all," he shared in a TikTok video recently, while walking around the city.
Explaining his reasons why on his account @thesuferpreneur, he said: "It's everything about it - the diversity and culture, the diversity in food - amazing food, diverse people, diversity in wealth. You have the poshest things, the grittiest things.
"It's such a lovely city, it's what a city should be."
The London superfan, who has been travelling around Europe recently, said he is obsessed with the parks in the capital city. He added: "It has the best public parks I've ever seen in any city worldwide - Victoria Park, Hyde Park, beautiful places and cosy little parks in between, a lot of lovely cafes."
"If you've never come, come visit," he insisted.
He also applauded the transport options; as an American he still finds it fascinating that you can hop on a train or plane to access other places around Europe within hours. "It's so amazing, so accessible... best city in the world."
"If you have money, it's definitely the best city," commented one. "London is definately better than Paris and New York," added another. "I'd give anything to work in London," wrote a third.
One other observed: "I always hear outsiders big up the green spaces in London which I took for granted until I researched other mega cities and their lack."
One other insists it trumps New York City, adding: "Big agree. London is the best city. So much better than New York, in my opinion."
Another who rushed to agree, said: "After going to NYC which is considered to be the best city in the world I had a slight feeling of disappointment, because even though it's a cool city and nowhere like it, London just does most things better and having grown up here and taken it for granted, NYC made me realise just how amazing London is."
One other pointed out: "London is HUGE. You can experience village vibes here, go to farms and massive parks, suburbs, inner city, central etc I don't think you can say that in Tokyo, Hong Kong, New York or LA."
