Aahana Kumra was recently evicted from the show ' Rise And Fall ', hosted by Ashneer Grover. In a recent interview, the actress revealed that she received death and r*pe threats from the fans of fellow contestant, Pawan Singh . The actress expressed that they had sorted out their differences already, and yet his fans threatened her on social media. Here's what she said.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Aahana Kumra shared that after she came out of the show, she received "a lot of death and r*pe threats." The actress stated that she then sent the screenshots of the same to the makers of the show. She said, "So why was I getting such threats? Maine toh aisi koi baat nahi kahi thi. (I didn't say any such thing). Kumra added that she neither abused anyone on the show nor did she do anything offensive.
The actress shared, "I was like, oh wow, hum log kaunse zamane mein reh rahe hain? (What era are we living in?)"
She went on to say, "Kis sadi me hai ki meri ek baat kehney par mujhe itney threats mil rahe hai, itni cheeze mere baare mein boli ja rahi hai—par kisi aur ko kuch nahi kaha ja raha (Which century are we in that for saying one thing, I am receiving so many threats, so many things are being said about me—but no one else is being told anything)."
Aahana Kumra reveals she and Pawan Singh had apologized to each other on stage
In the same interview, the actress added that she had said something that his fans didn't like; however, they had cleared that matter.
She said, "In fact, today I hold him in high regard, kyunki bahut contestants ne mere baare mein bahut kuch kaha aur aaj tak sorry nahi bola (because many contestants said a lot about me and haven't apologized till today)."
Aahana revealed that when she touched his mother's feet, at the end of it, he actually noticed the same. The actress recalled Pawan Singh saying on stage, "Agar main aapse sorry bol doon toh main chhota nahi ho jaunga (If I say sorry to you, I won't become less as a person)."
She stated that they both had reconciled, as they both apologized to each other on stage. The actress expected that since the two of them ended the matter, people should have finished it as well.
Kumra shared, "I understand ki log gussa ho jaate hain, aur unhe lagta hai ki maine kuch aisa keh diya jo unhe bura laga (I understand that people get angry, and they feel that I said something that hurt them)."
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress was last seen in the film 'Salaam Venky', starring Kajol and Vishal Jethwa. The film was released in December 2022.
