Method:


Rinse the Rice: Wash rice until the water runs clear. Soak it for 10-15 minutes while prepping other ingredients.

Sauté the Flavours: In a pot or deep pan, heat oil or ghee. Add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, toss in curry leaves, green chili, and ginger. Sauté for a few seconds.


Add Liquids & Cook: Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan. Stir gently. Pour in coconut milk and water. Add salt. Let it come to a boil.
