Rannvijay's Personal Connection to Rural Life

Rannvijay Singha, the host of Zee TV's latest reality series Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, shares a profound personal connection to the show. Having grown up in a time when the joys of village life were still prevalent, he fondly remembers his summer vacations spent in Punjab. His childhood was filled with experiences like drawing water from a hand-pump, collecting milk from the cowshed, and running barefoot through expansive fields. These formative moments instilled in him values of hard work, humility, and the importance of family.

In the fast-paced urban environment of today, Rannvijay observes that children often miss out on the essence of rural living, which is characterized by simplicity, manual labor, and communal values. As a father, he hopes that Chhoriyan Chali Gaon will provide a valuable glimpse into this world for his children and the younger generation, showcasing the true beauty of India.

“Some of my fondest memories are tied to my village,” Rannvijay reflects. “Visiting my grandparents during vacations was magical. With Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, I aim for today’s youth, including my kids, to experience the authentic India, where life is simple yet fulfilling. I want them to appreciate the slower pace of life that teaches the significance of every drop of water and every grain of food,” he adds.
