Devotees offer prayers to Durga Mata, seeking the blessings of the Goddess during this period. Gupt Navratri occurs twice a year in the months of Magha and Ashadha, while the main Navratri festival is celebrated during Kartik and Chaitra Month. During Gupt Navratri, the nine forms of Mahavidhya are worshipped with immense devotion and purity. Although Gupt Navratri is not widely recognized, it is regarded as the most powerful time for individuals who engage in Mantra and Tantra Sadhana, making it an exceptionally potent period for invoking Goddess Durga. Ashadha Navratri 2025: Puja Rituals
- Wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath before starting puja rituals.
- Take a wooden plank and place an idol of Maa Durga on that.
- Take a kalash filled with water, take a coconut and keep it on the Kalash.
- Do Ghatsthapana after placing that Kalash in front of the idol.
- Now light a diya with desi ghee, incense sticks and offer red hibiscus flowers to Maa Durga.
- Offer sweets, fruits and dry fruits and adorn Ma Durga with shringar items.
- Now invoke the idol by chanting various vedic mantras dedicated to Maa Durga.
- Recite Durga Saptashati and seek blessings of Maa Durga.
