Jaya Parvati Vrat 2025 : Jaya Parvati Vrat holds a great religious significance among Hindus. Another name for this is Gauri Vrat . Devotees worship Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati while fasting for five days. In the month of Ashadha, Jaya Parvati Vrat will start on Trayodashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha. The fast will start from today i.e., on July 8, 2025, and conclude on July 13, 2025, Tritiya Tithi of Krishna Paksha, which falls in the month of Shravana.

According to Hindu Scriptures, Jaya Parvati Vrat is very significant. Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are worshipped on this fortunate day. In Gujarat, where it is primarily observed, unmarried girls fast for five days in order to pray to Goddess Gauri and ask for blessings. It is believed that Goddess Parvati would grant their wishes and they will find a good life partner if unmarried ladies observe this fast with full devotion and dedication, On the sixth day, they can have a genuine Sattvik meal to break their fast after five days of worshiping Goddess Parvati. Puja Rituals for Jaya Parvati Vrat 2025
1. Get up early and take a bath.
2. Light a diya with desi ghee to worship the idols of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
3. Offer them sweets and five fruits (pomegranate, Meetha Paan, and coconut), adorn them with flowers.
4. Present Goddess Parvati with a minimum of five Shringaar items, such as a saree, sindoor, bangles, haldi, and mehendi.
5. For five days, unmarried girls must pray for their ideal husband and offer sindoor to Goddess Parvati daily.
6. Chant Aarti and recite mantras with utmost devotion.
7. On the last day, one needs to offer food, clothes and dakshina to Brahmin and seek blessings.
