Recently, the Los Angeles Lakers’ star player, LeBron James took to X to make a post in Spanish about being at the Los Angeles airport a few hours ago.
The post when translated to English read as, “Benito! I'm at Los Angeles airport right now, I'm coming to see you! I heard about what you have planned for tomorrow night. 👀. Let's go! 🔥🔥🔥🫡”
But this has confused fans and many have trolled him for using Spanish in his post and not English.
A fan by the username @g_PatrickW wrote, “Dude using an app to translate English to Spanish. Move on!”
Another fan by the username @NbaAoc posted, “Would be nice if you also showed some interest in winning a ring next season… maybe start with a pay cut?”
A third fan by the username @DiegoSzn94 wrote, “Bro used google Translate 😭”, while another fan by the username @messiah_07 posted, “We know you used Google Translate. You not slick Lebron.”
LeBron James has not yet commented on the criticism he has received for his recent post. While the NBA icon is busy maintaining a low profile, his son, Bronny James was recently spotted playing against the Miami Heat in the NBA Summer League.
But his performance has sparked divided reaction among fans, even though LeBron James had posted about how proud he was of his son.
LeBron James has always been very supportive of his son and has even gotten into a feud with Stephen A. Smith about it.
Last month, Stephen A. Smith opened up about it and said, "He hid behind his son, tried to make something out of nothing, as if I was dogging his son, which I was not. The real issue was we don't like each other. And he used that as an excuse to confront me," Smith claimed. "I got it."
