Reportedly, the company is planning for Trish Stratus’ return to WWE for the upcoming Evolution 2 all-women’s premium live event slated for July 13, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

Reports suggest that the interest in Stratus has likely grown following Liv Morgan’s recent shoulder injury, which has prompted several adjustments to the event’s planned lineup. However, WWE has not officially confirmed the news yet, but it seems the plan to bring back the WWE star is currently underway.

It is to be noted that WWE has announced plans to revive its historic all-women's event, Evolution, on July 13, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The Premium Live Event will showcase female superstars from RAW, SmackDown, and NXT, with potential appearances from legendary figures.

WWE is planning to bring Trish Stratus to Evolution 2 PLE
Speculations are doing the rounds that WWE is reportedly planning to bring Trish Stratus to the upcoming Evolution 2 event, which is scheduled to start on July 13, 2025.

According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE officials expressed interest during Night of Champions weekend in having Trish Stratus appear — and possibly compete — at the all-women’s event. While nothing was confirmed at that time, creative pitches are reportedly being discussed in case she agrees to participate.

As of the writing of this report, nothing has been confirmed by the company, but it has come to light that multiple creative options are being discussed, and it is expected to make progress on those plans over the next week. Stratus last competed in a high-profile storyline feud with Becky Lynch in 2023.

It is to be noted that Trish Stratus was one of the legends who laced up their boots at the first Evolution PLE back in 2018, where she and Lita defeated Mickie James and Alicia Fox.

As of now, the only confirmed match for Evolution is Jacy Jayne defending her NXT Women's Championship against Jordynne Grace, with the full PLE line-up still developing and taking shape.
