Fielding was average in the Headingley Test.

India's fielding was average in the Headingley Test and the fielders standing in the slips dropped many catches. Even Rishabh Pant behind the wicket did not look in rhythm. The Indian team has had enough time to improve its fielding. It will be interesting to see whether Yashasvi will be seen fielding in the slips during the second match or not, but the indication from the Indian team management is clear that any kind of lapse in fielding will not be tolerated.
