Cloudflare Confirms Network Disruption as Users Report Massive Downtime


Around 09:12 UTC, the official Cloudflare status page reported that a fix had been implemented and that the team was monitoring the results. The company added that it had noticed an increase in errors affecting customers using Cloudflare Workers scripts. Cloudflare said it was analysing the root cause and working on a fix, while continuing to share updates. This step was part of their effort to manage the Cloudflare server issue and ensure stable website performance for users.

Cloudflare also reminded users that updates would continue as the maintenance progressed. Many businesses that rely on Cloudflare services for website security, CDN performance and uptime were advised to keep an eye on the status page. The ongoing Cloudflare maintenance made it important for users to stay updated about disruptions in dashboard access and digital service availability.

User reports on Downdetector revealed the impact of the Cloudflare outage across multiple regions. In the United States, more than 1500 users reported issues around 2:34 PM IST. In India, over 2000 users reported similar Cloudflare server issues on the Downdetector outage tracking website. These large numbers highlighted the global scale of the Cloudflare outage and the website downtime experienced by many users.


Downdetector insights further showed that in the US, 74 percent of users reported server connection issues, 19 percent faced website problems, and 6 percent experienced DNS errors. In India, 71 percent users reported website-related issues, 22 percent struggled with server connection, and 8 percent faced hosting problems. These numbers reflected how the Cloudflare server issue affected different services and regions in varying degrees.

Cloudflare also said it was investigating problems affecting its Dashboard and Application Programming Interfaces. According to the company’s status page, customers using the Cloudflare Dashboard or Cloudflare APIs might experience failed requests or see error messages while the issue was being resolved. This added to the concerns of users already impacted by the global Cloudflare outage and website downtime.


The Cloudflare outage further affected several major trading and investment platforms including Zerodha, Angel One and Groww. Zerodha acknowledged the disruption and informed users that due to a cross-platform Cloudflare outage, the Kite platform was temporarily unavailable. The company advised clients to use the Kite WhatsApp backup to manage their trades until the Cloudflare server issue was fixed.
