Google brings it's most advanced AI Video Generator Veo 3 to India
Google has expanded access to its advanced AI video generation tool Veo 3 to users worldwide, including India, through its Google AI Pro subscription service available on the Gemini app .
The rollout brings Google's most sophisticated video creation technology to Indian users for the first time, allowing subscribers to generate realistic eight-second videos complete with synthesized speech, background music, and sound effects using simple text or image prompts.
Veo 3, unveiled at Google I/O developer conference in May, represents Google's answer to competitors like OpenAI's Sora video generator. The AI model excels at creating cinematic content with accurate physics simulation and lip-syncing capabilities, enabling users to produce everything from historical recreations to surreal artistic videos.

Google has implemented comprehensive safety measures for the platform, including extensive red-teaming evaluations and strict policy enforcement. All videos generated from user photos feature both visible watermarks and invisible SynthID digital signatures to clearly identify AI-generated content .
The Google AI Pro subscription, required for Veo 3 access, also includes advanced features like Gemini 2.5 Pro, Veo 2 Video Tools, Whisk, NotebookLM integration, and 2TB of cloud storage.
Veo 3 is now available in all regions where the Gemini app operates.
