YouTube Rolls Out Random Test For Shorts: Save Button Replaces Dislike Option

YouTube is currently experimenting with a new interface for its Shorts feature, replacing the ‘Dislike’ (thumbs down) button with a ‘Save’ option.

According to Android Authority, YouTube is running this test with a select group of users. Instead of the usual “Dislike” button, participants in the test will now find a “Save” button in its place. The update is being rolled out randomly, unlike YouTube Premium’s experimental features, which require users to opt in.

For users who prefer to express their dislike of a Short, they can still do so by accessing the menu in the top-right corner of the screen and selecting the “Dislike” option from there.
