After PM Modi's 'Save Oil' Appeal, Rajnath Singh Chairs Key Energy Security Review Meeting
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh chaired the 5th meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Group of Ministers (IGoM) in Delhi to review risks to energy supply chains and the availability of essential commodities amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia. The meeting focused on ensuring stability in supplies and preventing any disruptions. Rajnath Singh assured that the government is taking concrete steps to avoid shortages and urged people to remain calm and not panic. He also referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal for collective participation and energy conservation, saying it is a key step towards self-reliance and strengthening India’s energy security during global uncertainty.
