Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a sharp attack on the Congress party over its “shirtless” protest at the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi, alleging that it attempted to politicise a global platform. Addressing a gathering after flagging off the Namo Bharat train, he accused the opposition of indulging in “gandi aur nangi” politics at an international event. The Prime Minister further said that the country is aware of the party’s conduct and questioned the intent behind the demonstration. His remarks followed a protest by members of the Indian Youth Congress at Bharat Mandapam, where they staged a “shirtless” demonstration during the summit.
