Kotdwar: Deepak Kumar, who introduced himself as ‘Mohammed Deepak,’ became an overnight social media sensation after confronting Bajrang Dal members harassing an elderly Muslim shopkeeper over using ‘Baba’ in his shop’s name on Republic Day. In a widely shared video, Kumar intervened to protect the shopkeeper and stated he is unafraid of consequences, adding he would step in again whenever needed. Since the incident, Kumar has seen a massive surge in online visibility.
