India Can Be Pivotal In Peace And Two-State Solution, Says Palestine Ambassador

Delhi: Palestine Ambassador to India, Abdullah Abu Shawesh, on India’s invitation to the US President’s Board of Peace, said he cannot dictate India’s decision but is confident the country will deliberate internally. He emphasized that India’s role goes beyond joining any formal board and lies in actively contributing to peace in the region. Highlighting the two-state solution, he stated that India can play a pivotal role in its implementation and in helping end the Israeli occupation. According to him, India’s diplomatic influence and constructive engagement can significantly advance peace efforts, making it a key player in fostering stability and dialogue in the Middle East.
