Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said India is poised for strong economic growth, with real GDP expected to rise 6–8% and nominal growth 10–13% over the next five years. Speaking at a session during WEF 2026 in Davos, he highlighted government initiatives to simplify business processes, including slashing telecom tower approval time from 270 days to 7 days and achieving 89% instant approvals. Vaishnaw stressed the need to align bureaucracy with policy goals and improve industry communication.
