'Is This Mohabbat Ki Dukaan?': PM Modi Hits Out At Opposition Over 'Modi Teri Kabr Khudegi' Slogans
Prime Minister Narendra Modi targeted the opposition in the Rajya Sabha, accusing it of promoting hostility while publicly projecting messages of love and unity. Speaking during the Motion of Thanks, Modi questioned the use of the slogan “Mohabbat ki dukaan,” commonly associated with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, and alleged that the opposition nurtured hatred through divisive remarks such as “Modi teri kabr khudegi.” He said the Congress struggled to accept his political rise and viewed the prime minister’s post as a family entitlement. Modi also contrasted his government with previous administrations, saying his authority did not come from a “remote” but from the democratic mandate of 140 crore people, whom he described as the true source of his government’s power and direction.
