Kiren Rijiju Slams Congress, Shares Video Of Women MPs At PM Modi's Lok Sabha Seat
Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju shared a video of February 4 Lok Sabha proceedings, showing Congress women MPs holding placards and surrounding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s seat during his reply to the President’s Address. Rijiju called their actions “the most degrading behaviour” and said BJP MPs were restrained to maintain the dignity and sanctity of Parliament. He added that BJP and NDA members were “angry and agitated” as Congress women MPs climbed tables, crossed Treasury benches, and went past the Prime Minister’s seat. Rijiju emphasised that BJP women MPs were instructed to exercise restraint, warning that if they had moved forward, the situation could have escalated into a far more chaotic and confrontational scene in the House.
