PM Modi Speaks To Saudi Crown Prince And Bahrain King, Condemns Iran Attacks

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condemned the recent Iranian attacks on Saudi Arabia, calling them a violation of sovereignty and territorial integrity. He discussed the escalating West Asia crisis with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and separately spoke with Bahrain’s King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa. The calls came after US-Israel strikes on Iran that reportedly killed former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, triggering retaliatory missile attacks by Tehran on Israel and several Gulf countries. New Iranian strikes were also reported on a gas plant in Qatar and in Saudi Arabia. Modi emphasized the urgent need to restore regional peace and stability and thanked Saudi Arabia and Bahrain for ensuring the safety and well-being of the Indian community.
