Anil Kapoor To Romance Before Trilogy Star Julie Delpy in The Lunchbox Director's Next?
After featuring in Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and starring in season 8 of the hit American show 24, it looks like Anil Kapoor is all set for another inning in an international movie.
Reportedly, the Hindi film star is all set to star alongside French actress Julie Delpy who is renowned globally for starring in Richard Linklater’s much-loved “Before” Trilogy — Before Sunrise
Sharing the details about the upcoming film, a source told Mid-Day, “The film is a love story between an Indian man and a foreigner. In Julie, who is naturally charismatic on screen, Ritesh has found the perfect actor to lead his sensitive romantic drama. It aligns with the cinematic sensibility of the actor, who is known for her films that balance humour, love, and realism beautifully.”
Another insider shared, “Anil, who is pursuing novel stories, is keen to be a part of Ritesh’s world. He has loved the director’s previous works, and is eager to creatively collaborate with him.”
The international co-production has Oscar winner Guneet Monga Kapoor as one of the producers.
The movie is expected to go on floors by September end for a release in 2026.
