Ulhasnagar News: A shocking incident has emerged from Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra, where a brother chose violence over acceptance regarding his sister's love marriage. Shakil Khan, angered by his sister's decision to marry a Hindu man, launched a brutal attack on his brother-in-law, Nagesh Chavan, with the help of an accomplice.

This incident took place at a petrol pump located in Camp Number 5 of Ulhasnagar, where Nagesh was employed. On Monday night, as Nagesh was preparing to leave after his shift, Shakil arrived with his friend Arbaaz Khan. CCTV footage captured the moment when Shakil, without any prior argument, suddenly drew a knife and began attacking Nagesh.

Brutal Outcome of Hatred

In a fit of rage, Shakil stabbed Nagesh multiple times in the abdomen. The unexpected assault left Nagesh unable to react, and he collapsed, bleeding profusely. Following the attack, the assailants fled the scene. Nagesh was rushed to a nearby hospital in Ulhasnagar, but due to the severity of his injuries, doctors referred him to a facility in Mumbai for advanced treatment.

Police Action

The Hill Line police station promptly initiated an investigation given the seriousness of the incident and arrested the main accused, Shakil Khan, along with his accomplice, Arbaaz Khan, based on the CCTV evidence. During police questioning, Shakil confessed to his crime, expressing his deep anger over his sister's interfaith marriage and his desire to teach his brother-in-law a lesson.

This incident highlights the ongoing societal tensions and religious divides that continue to overshadow human emotions. The police are currently engaged in further legal proceedings regarding the case.
