'Final Destination: Bloodlines' OTT release date: When and where to watch in India

Following a successful theatrical run, Final Destination: Bloodlines, the sixth installment in the iconic Final Destination franchise, is set to make its OTT debut in India.

After hitting cinemas, Final Destination: Bloodlines delighted horror fans, finally delivering the long-awaited sequel. For those who missed its theatrical release, the film will soon be available to stream online.

Final Destination: Bloodlines will premiere on JioHotstar on October 16, 2025, and will be accessible in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The streaming platform announced, "Death runs in the family. Final Destination: Bloodlines streaming 16th October onwards in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu only on JioHotstar."


Directed by Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky, the movie explores "Death's twisted sense of justice" from the very beginning.

“Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all,” reads the official synopsis.

The screenplay was penned by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, based on a story by Busick, Taylor, and Jon Watts.

With a $51 million domestic debut, the film achieved the franchise’s best opening weekend. By the conclusion of its theatrical run, it became the highest-grossing film in the series, raking in $286 million globally, according to Variety.

To date, the franchise has amassed over $983 million worldwide, making it New Line’s third-biggest horror series after The Conjuring universe ($2.3 billion) and the It movies ($1.2 billion).

Meanwhile, the seventh installment of the series is already in development, with co-writer Lori Evans Taylor returning. The original Final Destination, released in 2000, starred Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, Seann William Scott, and Tony Todd.
