As per estimates from industry analysts, 'War 2' is anticipated to generate approximately Rs 52.5 crore on its opening day across India. The film is expected to perform best in the Hindi-speaking regions, with an estimated collection of Rs 29 crore, followed by Rs 23.25 crore from Telugu audiences, and a modest Rs 25 lakh from Tamil viewers.


Competition with 'Coolie'

Despite the excitement surrounding 'War 2' and its impressive cast, it is currently trailing behind 'Coolie', which has reportedly earned Rs 65 crore on its first day in India.

In addition to Hrithik and Jr NTR, 'War 2' features Kiara Advani in a significant role, with Ashutosh Rana also appearing in key parts. The film is helmed by director Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner. It has been released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.

Cameos and Future Projects

The film also features unexpected cameos from Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. Bobby Deol appears in the post-credit scene, which teases the storyline of 'Alpha', a film that stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. In 'Alpha', Bobby will portray the antagonist, while Anil Kapoor is introduced as the new R&AW chief following the demise of Colonel Karan Luthra.
