The event also discussed several other important topics, including India's relations with China and Pakistan, the changing nature of modern warfare, and the increasing role of technology, drones, and cyber tools in defense and diplomacy.

Responding to questions about Pakistan's use of Chinese weapons during Operation Sindoor, the former foreign secretary described it as a sign of a deepening strategic partnership between China and Pakistan. Shringla said Field Marshal Asim Munir strengthened his position under the Trump 2.0 administration and managed to attract US attention.

The former Foreign Secretary said that India's strength lies in building lasting partnerships with the United States, Europe, and the Global South. Our partnerships are based on democracy, technology, trade, and security cooperation. India launched a major offensive against Pakistan during Operation Sindoor, inflicting significant damage on Pakistan. It is also interesting that despite India's repeated denials, Trump has repeatedly stated on several occasions that the ceasefire following Operation Sindoor was due to his efforts.
