Mirai Review: Fans Call Teja Sajja's Fantasy Film 'Better Than Kalki 2898 AD'
Teja Sajja’s latest fantasy movie, Mirai, has finally been released in theatres and the initial reactions for the film are out.
Like Teja Sajja’s previous pan-India success, Hanu-Man, Mirai has also opened to positive reviews and users are lauding its VFX, scale, and storytelling, which was promised by the makers in its trailer.
The initial reactions to MiraiA majority of social media users called the film ‘perfect’ and far better than Prabhas’Kalki 2898 AD
Kalki 2898 AD was also a fantasy movie set in a dystopian future envisioned by Nag Ashwin starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles.
One user commented, “The entire film is made technically very strong and is a proper fantasy film made from Telugu cinema to the world. Right from the beginning to the end, it takes you into a world one hasn’t experienced before. Catered for all sections of audience, @tejasajja123 once again impresses with his role this time as Superyodha. In the interval bird sequence and post interval fight sequence he stuns with his efforts and performance. SURPRISES Worked Well Just Experience the Cinematic EXPERIENCE in Big Screens . Karthik Gattamneni proved his technical front with amazing visuals and CGI looks absolutely wonder. Music by Gowrahari riveting and other cast performances are very good.!!”

Our take: Execution of #Mirai might be better than Kalki, but can #TejaSajja & #ManchuManoj match the aura of #Prabhas & #KamalHaasan ⁉️
Our HONEST REVIEW drops tomorrow🤟🏻pic.twitter.com/zlmjMNnDZV
One user reacted, “Just completed watching the first half of #MIRAI and it’s SPEECHLESS, STUNNING, and ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL. How can someone pull off such top-quality work on such a limited budget? The Sampati interval block is phenomenal.”
He added, “The second half is double the madness of the first! Teja Sajja excellently carried the emotions, and the action stunts were very impressive. The BGM by Hari Gowra elevated the experience to a whole new level. Theatres will erupt during the climax portion, and the surprise at the end is very neatly placed. Karthik’s story and presentation are phenomenal, visual work from the team deserves lots of applause, and the fantasy elements will make kids and family audiences go gaga.”
