Prince Harry reveals Lilibet's 3-word reaction to Disney birthday celebration
Prince Harry has revealed his daughter's sweet reaction to her Disney-themed birthday celebration back in June. Born in California, Princess Lilibet joined the family on June 4, 2021 - just one year after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made the decision to step away from royal duties and move to the US.
Celebrating her fourth birthday earlier this year, Meghan and Harry planned a trip to Disneyland to mark their daughter's special day. Prince Archie, who turned six in May, also joined the trip with his parents and little sister.
Appearing on 'The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland - A Special Edition of 20/20', Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, recalled their favourite Disney memories - as well as speaking of their recent visit for Lilibet's birthday.
Harry revealed that the excitement began before they even reached the park, before sharing his daughter's adorable reaction.
The proud dad shared that Archie and Lilibet said, "'This is amazing!", before recalling how he then thought to himself, "Guys, this isn't even the front of it. Prepare yourself. You're about to be blown away"."
Discussing his experience back in June, he added: "To see the kids throw themselves into these experiences when they have no idea what they're walking into - it was amazing. And it brings out the kid in you again."
A new snap of Archie and Lilibet was then shown during the programme, which showed them admiring a beautiful spread of food - including a spectacular Little Mermaid-themed cake, complete with a fondant Ariel on top.
Harry also recalled his childhood trip to Disneyland with his mother, Princess Diana and older brother, Prince William, in 1993. He was just eight years old at the time.
He said: "I remember it very, very well. I remember losing it as a kid with all the characters. Like, losing it."
Taking to her Instagram account at the timeof their visit, Meghan shared an array of pictures and clips. She captioned the post, "Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!"
