Fined for not wearing mask at farewell party: XEN, EO among municipal officials

Sorting out a goodbye party for Executive Engineer (XEN) of Municipal Council Narnaul, Hemant Kumar, cost 10 authorities of the chamber Rs 500 each after Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) slapped a punishment on them for not wearing the veils and not keeping up social removing at the gathering.

Those fined incorporate XEN Hemant Kumar, Executive Officer (EO) Vijay Pal, Municipal Engineer (ME) Sohan Singh, Secretary Anil Kumar, Junior Engineers (JEs)- Vikas Garg, Rahul and Vikash Sharma, Accountants-Umesh Kumar and Parveen Kumar and Chief Sanitary investigator Vijay Kaushik.

The activity went ahead Wednesday evening after photos of the gathering turned into a web sensation via web-based networking media. Appointee Commissioner (DC), RK Singh, who was in Chandigarh around then, saw the photos and requested that the ADC punish the authorities not wearing veils at the gathering.

XEN Hemant Kumar has been moved to Gurugram from Municipal Council, Narnaul.
