Fleeing from 'Shramik Special' train detained by Angul police: 18 migrants

 

Boinda:  Eighteen transient laborers were kept Tuesday night by Angul police. They were attempting to escape from a Shramik Special train while coming back from Gujarat. They have been sent to isolate focuses at Boinda and Luhamunda in Angul locale, police said. The vagrants were attempting to maintain a strategic distance from the compulsory 28-day isolate forced by the Odisha government for outstation returnees.

At the point when the train came to approach Jambunali under Kishornagar square of the area, the vagrants halted the train by pulling the chain. Anyway when they leaped out of the train and attempted to escape they were spotted by local people. Local people kept the laborers and educated Boinda police authorities and GRP about the occurrence.

On being educated police arrived at the spot and confined the violators before sending them to the isolate focuses. While 10 of the vagrants have been sent to the Boinda isolate focus, the staying eight have gone to Luhamumda. All the 18 have a place with Athmallik and Kishorenagar squares.

“We have sent 18 people to the isolate focuses. They will remain there till their tests are finished. In the event that their reports are negative bodies of evidence will be enlisted against them,” police educated.
