Former gram pradhan bludgeoned to death in Etah
AGRA: A former gram pradhan was allegedly bludgeoned to death at his field in Etah district .
Identified as Rajendra Pal Singh (70), resident of Nagla Kishan Singh village, the victim was found dead on Friday morning.
Ajit Singh, station house officer (SHO) of Awagadh said, “Rajendra’s body was found close to his house backyard.
The murderer had used a brick to kill the victim. He was last seen around 9:30 pm on Thursday night after he left home to play poker.”
According to the police, Rajendra Pal Singh is survived by his wife and daughter-in-law. His son works as daily wage labour in Maharashtra.
“We are waiting for a written compliant from the victim’s family. Once we receive that, we will lodge an FIR. Meanwhile, the body has been sent for atuposy,” the SHO added.
