Former NCP MLC Narendra Patil joins Shiv Sena

MUMBAI: Former NCP legislator and labour leader Narendra Patil joined Shiv Sena in presence of party chief Uddhav Thackeray on Friday.


Shiv Sena may announce Patil as candidate from Satara Lok Sabha constituency, a stronghold of NCP. The NCP has already announced candidature of sitting MP Udayanraje Bhosale from Satara.

Patil, currently head of the government-controlled Annasaheb Patil Financial Development Corporation, is also known to be a Maratha community leader.
