New Delhi: As the Lok Sabha polls are approaching, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is taking on a series of initiatives to encourage voter participation. The voting in Delhi is scheduled to take place on May 25, 2024.

Chandni Chowk Sarv Vyapar Mandal has taken a step by offering a 10 per cent discount to shoppers who display the indelible ink mark on their finger at registered establishments within the mandal.

This special discount can be availed of by shoppers on May 27, 2024.

Similarly, Vyapar Mandal C-4-E Janakpuri Market has announced a 5 per cent discount for individuals who show the voting mark on their finger while shopping at the market.

In the West zone, various establishments have decided to offer discounts ranging from 10 per cent to 20 per cent for patrons who exercise their right to vote in the upcoming general elections.

Restaurants affiliated with the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) has announced a 20 per cent discount to Delhi voters who present their ID and inked finger. Similarly, Select City Walk Mall in Saket has urged establishments within the mall to extend discounts to eligible voters.

In the Keshavpuram zone, numerous establishments have decided to offer discounts of 20 per cent to 30 per cent to voters who cast their votes.

Additionally, Radisson Blu Hotel in the Dwarka area of Najafgarh Zone has announced substantial discounts of 50 per cent on lunch buffet and 30 per cent on dinner buffet exclusively for voters on May 25, 2024.
