BLACKPINK has once again made history on YouTube! As of August 31, 2024, at 7:44 a.m. KST, the music video for their 2019 smash hit " Kill This Love " has surpassed an incredible 2 billion views. This milestone makes BLACKPINK the first K-pop artist to achieve this feat with more than one music video. They previously reached this landmark with their 2018 hit "DDU-DU DDU-DU."

"Kill This Love" is now only the second K-pop group music video to hit the 2 billion views mark, following BLACKPINK’s own "DDU-DU DDU-DU." Including solo artists, it is only the third K-pop music video to achieve this, with PSY’s iconic "Gangnam Style" being the first.

Released on April 5, 2019, "Kill This Love" took just over 5 years, 4 months, and 26 days to reach 2 billion views, showcasing the enduring popularity of BLACKPINK's music. This achievement not only highlights their massive global influence but also their consistent ability to captivate audiences worldwide.
