Comrades In Arms: BTS' Jungkook And Jimin Display Camaraderie In New Military Pictures

Hero Image
Newly surfaced online images showcase BTS' maknaes Jungkook and Jimin. After the exclusive snapshot of RM and V, the official military website of South Korea has unveiled another unit picture, capturing Jungkook and Jimin dressed in military uniforms. Despite prior announcements stating that new or exclusive photos of BTS members wouldn't be released due to intellectual property rights issues with HYBE, it seems this restriction doesn't extend to group photos.

Freshly surfaced military photos feature BTS' Jungkook and Jimin

The latest images showcase the pair, enlisted in the military through the companion soldiers program, set to train alongside each other, potentially under the guidance of the eldest member, Jin. These photos capture them in posed positions side by side. Despite Jungkook's face being obscured for the most part, his distinctive facial features remained identifiable. Meanwhile, Jimin projected a serene and composed aura, carrying himself confidently. It's worth noting that Jungkook had one hand resting on Jimin's shoulder.

The website known as The Camp, which facilitates communication between soldiers and their families, had initially included BTS in their 'Star Soldier list.' However, following a significant spike in traffic causing the website to crash, a legal dispute arose with BTS' management company. As a result, not only were BTS members impacted, but idols from other prominent management companies were also removed due to intellectual property rights concerns raised by BIGHIT MUSIC.

This alteration suggests that the app will refrain from releasing individual images of the idols taken during their military service. However, it doesn't entirely eliminate the possibility of group shots. Similar to the images featuring RM and V, the latest ones portraying Jungkook and Jimin depict them alongside other soldiers.

BTS Members' Military Schedule

As of now, all BTS members are actively engaged in their military service. The group has outlined their intention to reunite in 2025. Jin, the eldest member who enlisted first, is anticipated to conclude his service in early 2024, with J-Hope and Suga scheduled to follow subsequently. Throughout their individual periods, the trio has outlined plans to release new songs.
