(G)I-DLE’s Shuhua Temporarily Takes A Break From Comeback Promotions Due To Health Concerns
On February 3, Cube Entertainment revealed that (G)I-DLE's Shuhua is taking a temporary break from her activities due to health concerns. The agency stated, "Shuhua has not been feeling well since yesterday (February 2), and so she plans to halt all scheduled activities and get some rest."
As a consequence, Shuhua was unable to participate in the live broadcast of MBC’s "Music Core" on February 3, as well as a fan signing event and video call event that were scheduled for the same day. This followed a previous absence from a fan signing event and video call event on February 2 due to what Cube Entertainment referred to as "physical illness."
Cube Entertainment emphasized, "Once again, we ask for fans’ generous understanding, and we will do our utmost to help our artist recover her condition and take care of her health so that she can greet the fans in good health."
(G)I-DLE, a five-member South Korean girl group under Cube Entertainment, recently made a comeback with their new album "2" on January 29. The group, originally comprised of Miyeon, Minnie, Soojin , Soyeon, Yuqi , and Shuhua, received acclaim for their debut EP "I Am," featuring the hit track "Latata." Soojin left the group in 2021.
Despite the setback, fans are expressing their unwavering support for Shuhua, wishing her a speedy recovery. The group's agency reassured fans that they are committed to ensuring Shuhua's well-being, and the collective hope is for her to return to greet the fans in good health soon.
As (G)I-DLE navigates this temporary pause, their dedicated fan base remains united in sending positive vibes to Shuhua, highlighting the importance of artists' health and well-being in the dynamic world of K-pop.
