KATSEYE is an American girl group formed through the reality show Dream Academy, a collaborative project between Hybe UMG and Geffen Records. The group, consisting of six members—Manon, Sophia, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae—made their debut in 2024 with the single "Debut," followed by their extended play SIS (Soft Is Strong).

In November 2021, Hybe Corporation and Geffen Records launched a global search for contestants as part of their joint venture, Hybe x Geffen Records. Auditions took place in South Korea, the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom throughout 2022, with the goal of creating a group that would "transcend national, cultural, and artistic boundaries."
