NCT WISH’s Riku Is Currently On A Temporary Hiatus From Activities Because Of Health Matters
NCT WISH's Riku is stepping back from group activities due to health concerns. On October 22 KST, SM Entertainment announced that Riku had recently visited the hospital and was advised by medical professionals to prioritize rest and recovery.
In their statement, SM Entertainment emphasized, “We have prioritized the health of our artist and, after careful discussion with Riku, have decided that he will focus on treatment and recovery.” They added, “Riku will not participate in scheduled activities starting today, and we will provide updates once he is able to return.”
With Riku's absence, the upcoming ‘2024 NCT WISH ASIA TOUR LOG in JAPAN,’ set to kick off on November 3 KST, will continue with five members: Shion, Yushi, Jaehui, Ryo, and Sakuya.

We would like to inform you regarding the health status and activities of member Riku.
Riku recently visited the hospital due to poor health, and based on the medical team’s diagnosis, it has been determined that he needs sufficient rest and recovery. Considering the health of our artist as the top priority, we have decided after careful discussions with Riku that he will focus on treatment and recovery.
As such, Riku will not be participating in any scheduled activities starting today. We will provide updates when he is ready to return to his activities.
