On May 28, PENTAGON’s Yeo One , also known by his real name Yeo Changgu, announced his military enlistment via Instagram. Sharing photos of his new buzz cut, Yeo One expressed his feelings and hopes in a heartfelt message to his fans.

Yeo Chang-gu, better known by his stage name Yeo One, is a South Korean singer and actor. He debuted as a vocalist in the South Korean boy group Pentagon in October 2016. Beyond his group activities, he has also starred in various television and web dramas.

In December 2013, Yeo One participated in a special dance performance at the KBS Song Festival alongside future bandmates Hui, E'Dawn, and Kino. In 2014, he appeared in G.NA's "Secret" music video and promotional activities. In July 2015, he featured in Beast's Son Dong-woon's "Kimishika" music video. By August 2015, he was modeling alongside Hyuna for the fashion brand Clride.n.

Yeo One took part in Mnet's reality survival program Pentagon Maker, which aired online through Mnet's digital content brand M2. On October 10, 2016, he debuted as a member of Pentagon on Mnet's M Countdown with the track "Gorilla" from their debut extended play, Pentagon. The song is characterized by its hip-hop style with powerful beats and a strong brass sound. During the filming of Pentagon Maker, he made his acting debut with a lead role in the web drama Spark, playing the leader of an idol group named Dexter. The series was a commercial success and attracted a global fanbase.

In January 2024, Yeo One joined the reality music competition show Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival.
