Haryana allows purchase of bajra, paddy sans land records

CHANDIGARH: The farmers in Haryana are not required to get copy of farad or mutation from the Patwari to sell their produce of paddy and bajra in state mandies. They can sell their produce in the mandis of the State on the basis of information registered on the ‘Meri Fasal Meral Byora Portal’.

The farmers have to bring their registered mobile number along with them.
They are not required to get copy of farad or mutation from the Patwari.

While giving this information here today, an official spokesman said that for proper procurement of produce in the mandis during the ongoing kharif marketing season and to hear the grievances of farmers, senior IAS officers have been deputed for carrying out inspection of mandis.

He said that for the procurement of Bajra in mandis of Mahendergarh district, Additional Chief Secretary Housing Dhanpat Singh has been deputed.

Similarly, Additional Chief Secretary Industries Devender Singh has been deputed for the procurement of Bajra in mandis of Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri districts, Additional Chief Secretary Printing and Stationary V S Kundu for district Rewari, Principal Secretary Development and Panchayats Sudhir Rajpal for district Jhajjar and Principal Secretary School Education Dr Mahavir Singh for district Mewat.
