Haryana: Body of unidentified man found in Ambala City

AMBALA: A body of an unidentified man reported to be in his thirties has been recovered under mysterious circumstances from an abandoned building near Aggarsain Chowk in Ambala City of Haryana on Saturday.


The body--which was was lying on the first floor of the building--came to notice after some people experienced foul smell.

Police recovered used intoxicating injections and syringes near the body.

Forensic expert Dr GR Jain, who visited the spot, said, “The exact cause of death would be clear after the post-mortem. We have advised the officials to preserve the DNA. The injections will be sent for the examination.”

In-charge, police post-7 in Ambala City, said, “The body seems to be a few days old and it has been shifted to the mortuary of civil hospital Ambala City for identification. The deceased seemed to be an addict. Injections have been recovered and the matter is being investigated.”
