Health staffers go on strike in Aurangabad
The association representing administrative staff from the office of deputy director of health services, Aurangabad , went on strike to press for their different demands, on Monday. The demands were related to salary revision, service promotion, implementation of old pension scheme and staffing pattern.

A special public committee has been formed to felicitate veteran railway activist Omprakash Varma. He was known for advocating public demands, he took up legal fights against the railway authorities to protect interest of passengers.

Newly elected Shiv Sena MLC Ambadas Danve visited Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) recently. Danve, who is an alumnus of BAMU, met Vice Chancellor Pramod Yeole and assured all possible support for the development of the university.
